Shima is an experienced speech pathologist who consistently gives more than your standard clinical care. With two young boys of her own, she understands the challenges of getting therapy done in all the joy and chaos of family life. She wants to support every child to achieve their full potential, so they can shimmer too. Shima likes to
Shima is an experienced speech pathologist who consistently gives more than your standard clinical care. With two young boys of her own, she understands the challenges of getting therapy done in all the joy and chaos of family life. She wants to support every child to achieve their full potential, so they can shimmer too. Shima likes to work with other professionals (for example Occupational Therapists, Nutritionists/naturopaths, dental professionals and ENT) to ensure every child has a holistic model of care tailored to them.
Shima has worked across a range of settings, from the outback to city hospitals - she enjoys a challenge! Whilst she loves all areas of paediatrics, those close to her heart that she has additional training in are Autism Spectrum Disorder (Hanen trained), as well as Orofacial Myology (AOMC trained).
